We’ve visited the Boca Raton Resort a couple or three times over the last ten years, and of any resort we’ve ever visited this is the one that keeps drawing us back. We’re always excited to arrive and sad to leave, and when you find a place that hits all the buttons like that you want to hold onto it year after year.
So what is it about the Boca Raton Resort that we love? Well, above all else it’s the tennis. The 18 clay courts make up one of the best tennis clubs in the country, and under the direction of tennis director Erik Silver it’s the best place I’ve ever visited for helping you improve your game.
Erik has been at the club since he was a kid, and he takes his job extremely seriously. Throughout the week there are any number of clinics, technical lessons and competitive play to help players of any skill level improve. I’m far from the best, but each week I spend in Boca Raton ups my game more than a year of practice elsewhere. The tennis pros are just the best.
It’s not just about the tennis, though. The resort also has a half mile of beautiful private beach, great accommodations, a world class golf course with a devilish number of water hazards, lots of pools and an enormous spa and fitness center. We’re never short of things to do when we visit.
At the end of the day, the Boca Raton Resort has something for everyone. It’s fun, relaxing, challenging and beautiful, and to top it off the folks working the resort are the nicest you’ll ever meet. I know we’ll keep going back there for years, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same after your first visit.
